Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is bringing its sprawling medieval RPG to Nintendo Switch 2, with Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver confirming during today’s Nintendo Direct that the Royal Edition will launch on the console in 2027.
Players will once again step into 15th-century Bohemia as Henry of Skalitz, an ordinary man pulled into a dangerous story of revenge, loyalty, and discovery. The open-world RPG offers a detailed medieval setting filled with bustling towns, imposing castles, perilous roads, and a variety of role-playing systems where player choices can have lasting consequences.
Whether players prefer talking their way through a situation, engaging in first-person combat, sneaking through enemy camps, or simply carving out their own path, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II gives them plenty of ways to approach its quests and challenges.
The Royal Edition includes the base game alongside all premium story expansions, exclusive gear, and a bonus questline. With the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance already available on Nintendo Switch and playable on Switch 2 through backward compatibility, the sequel will allow players to experience Henry’s complete journey on Nintendo’s latest hardware.
The Switch 2 version is currently planned to include Joy-Con 2 mouse mode support, HDR, handheld play at 1080p, and docked play at up to 1440p, with both resolutions upscaled and final output dependent on the display. The release will also feature various gameplay bug fixes and an enlarged menu interface designed for smaller screens.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with the Royal Edition planned for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
