City Connection has announced a brand-new entry in the JaJaMaru-kun series in celebration of its 40th anniversary. JaJaMaru no Hyakki Yagyou Den, is being co-developed by amazing and due out in 2026, The game is ahack-and-slash game where you clear dungeons full of yokai using weapons and skills.
The title and first artwork were announced during City Connection 20th Anniversary Festival, with the artwork featuring a sword-wielding JaJaMaru-kun alongside Sakura Hime, Namazu Dayuu, and other familiar yokai, as well as new characters.
Platforms and further information about the new game were not announced.
In addition to this Mebius has released Ninja JaJaMaru-kun MSX, a port of the MSX version of the original Ninja JaJaMaru-kun, for Switch on the Japanese eShop today for 1,280 yen.
