A company dissolution notice published today in Japan’s government gazette has revealed that Itagaki Games, the studio established by Tomonobu Itagaki in January 2021, has been shut down.
The notice reads:
“Dissolution Notice: [Itagaki Games, LLC] has been dissolved, so if you have any claims against our company, please submit your claims within two months from the day this notice is published.”
Itagaki founded the studio in 2021 and said that Itagaki Games would release its first game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC., but nothing was ultimately released.
