Starfield is enjoying attention online after a successful launch, and its popularity is affecting other games as well. Hello Games founder Sean Murray revealed on social media that the developer’s game No Man’s Sky is currently having its “biggest month” ever in the past few years.
The game was hyped for quite a while before it was first released, only to gain a large backlash for the lack of promised features. In the time that followed Hello Games worked to turn the game around and deliver on what they originally promised, and managed to succeed and go far beyond with no looking back. Hello Games has even released a Switch version not too long ago and the game is considered to be a very good port even if there is no multiplayer.
It is good to see that more interest in games of this nature has come about, and Everspace 2, which we released a review of here, is also a game along these lines worth checking out.
