The cult classic RPG Gothic II has officially made its way to modern consoles with the release of Gothic II Complete Classic, bringing the original adventure and its Night of the Raven expansion to PlayStation and Xbox.
Gothic II Complete Classic is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, giving console players the chance to return to the world of Khorinis and once again take on the role of the Nameless Hero. The release comes after the magical barrier surrounding the Valley of Mines has been torn down, leaving the former prisoners free to roam a world that has quickly descended into chaos.
With the prisoners now loose across the forests and mountains surrounding Khorinis, bandits have begun preying on travelers while the town militia struggles to keep order. Players will have to navigate this increasingly dangerous world while continuing the Nameless Hero’s journey and dealing with the consequences of the events that came before.
The Complete Classic edition combines Gothic II with the Night of the Raven expansion, providing the full console experience in one package. The adventure features more than 100 missions, over 500 NPCs with their own dialogue and daily routines, a branching narrative shaped by player choices, and more than 200 weapons and magical spells. The game also includes more than 12 hours of English voice acting.
Gothic II Complete Classic is available now for €29.99 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The console release also marks another step toward completing the classic Gothic trilogy on modern platforms, with Gothic III Classic scheduled to follow on November 24, 2026.
