Like in the original Dragon Quest for NES you are a one man party traveling around the overworld and ruins while slaying monsters in a turn based combat system. The story is pretty basic. Your sick mother asks you to go on a quest to find your missing father. It is all in Japanese but the game’s English manual will definitely help you go through the basics of the game. Like all EGGCONSOLE releases there are save states, rewind features, and digital scans of the game’s original manual.
EGGCONSOLE Crimson with be released in the Nintendo Switch eshop for $6.49 on 1/16. Here is a video of the game in action.
