Arrakis has suddenly become a lot more crowded, as Dune: Awakening has welcomed one million new survivors following the launch of its PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions and the game’s biggest update yet.
Funcom announced the milestone just days after bringing Dune: Awakening to consoles, thanking the players who have made their way to Arrakis and joined the growing community. With one million new survivors arriving in such a short period of time, the survival MMO is continuing to expand its player base beyond its original PC audience.
Dune: Awakening is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox, giving console players the opportunity to explore Arrakis, build their bases, survive its harsh environment, and contend with the dangers of the desert.
For those who have yet to make the journey on PC, Dune: Awakening is also currently available at 50% off on Steam through October 8. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the Dune universe or one of the latest survivors to set foot on Arrakis, there are now plenty of reasons to see what Funcom’s take on the setting has to offer.
