Modus Games and Secret Based have announced that Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons will release on July 27, 2023. This game looks to revive the series and features tag-team brawls, roguelite elements and a diverse roster of characters. The game is planned for a release on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and can be wishlisted on steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1967260/Double_Dragon_Gaiden_Rise_Of_The_Dragons and preordered here: https://doubledragongaiden.com.
The game will feature two-player local co-op at launch with online co-op is planned as a post-launch update later this year. Other features include h unlockable bonuses, adjustable difficulty levels and optional permadeath and infinite modes.
