Destiny Child is officially making a comeback with a new game, as Com2uS has unveiled DESTINY CHILD: ASSEMBLE to coincide with the franchise’s 10th anniversary. The upcoming mobile RPG will continue the original game’s story and universe, bringing back familiar characters while introducing new narratives for longtime fans.

Developed by Tikitaka Studio, a subsidiary of Com2uS, and published globally by Com2uS, DESTINY CHILD: ASSEMBLE is an idle RPG that will incorporate the original game’s main storyline and side stories into its character collection and progression systems. The game will also feature new stories, with the developers aiming to preserve the distinctive characters and presentation that helped establish Destiny Child while making the experience more accessible.

Originally developed by SHIFT UP, Destiny Child attracted a dedicated following thanks to its extensive cast of more than 500 characters and its use of Live2D technology throughout the game. The new title looks to build on that foundation, with ASSEMBLE referring to the reunion of the Archfiend candidates, the title given to players in the original game. It also serves as a message to fans who have been waiting for the franchise to return.

To mark the announcement, Com2uS has launched an official teaser website featuring the first promotional video for DESTINY CHILD: ASSEMBLE, alongside a link to the game’s official X account. The teaser features the Hades Flower, a sacred relic from the original game capable of breathing new life into beings, suggesting that its appearance represents the rebirth of the franchise. The video also includes dialogue hinting at a reunion, further emphasizing the game’s connection to its predecessor.

DESTINY CHILD: ASSEMBLE is scheduled to launch globally on iOS and Android in the first half of 2027. Com2uS plans to share additional information through the game’s teaser website and official social media channels as development continues.
