A listing on the Switch eShop has revealed that Chip’s Challenge will be coming to Nintendo Switch on January 25th, 2024 and will be published by Pixel Games UK. Chip’s Challenge was originally released in 1989 by Epyx as a launch title for the Atari Lynx and saw ports to the Atari ST, Amiga, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, MS-DOS and Windows.

The classic puzzle game from 1989 returns, with over 140 levels to tax your mind and fingers.

Take on the role of puzzle-obsessed Chip, who desperately wants to join Melinda the Mental Marvel’s computer club. His initiation test is a series of increasingly difficult puzzles. Chip must collect items, slide blocks, dodge hazards and more to collect the computer chips needed to pass each level. Are you up to the Challenge?

This collection allows you to play these classic games with many modern features, including:
• Display filters, including retro LCD and CRT filters
• Save games – save and restore your game at any point
• Right- and left-handed control presets

Chip’s Challenge will cost 2.99 USD on the Nintendo Switch.
