Castlevania: Nocturne has now received a debut date and teaser trailer from Netflix, with the streaming service confirming that the show will star Richter and will be an origin story with vampires in the French Revolution. The show will offer “an exciting new setting and their highest stakes yet” with a story centring around “love and loss”.
Netflix is also suggesting that viewers start with this show if they’re not familiar with other Castlevania shows, gaming adaptations, or anime. Kevin Kolde is acting as showrunner with Clive Bradley as creator / writer and Project 51 Productions producing with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation.
Castlevania: Nocturne debuts date is set for September 28, 2023.
