Nintendo released a new firmware update for Switch 2 last night, and one thing that it has fixed is the issue with Carbon Engine-based games on the system. For those unfamiliar, the Carbon Engine is what Limited Run Games uses to bring classic titles to modern systems. There were issues with running these on Switch 2, but thanks to firmware update version 20.1.15, the majority now work fine.
The lineup of working games includes:
- Clock Tower: Rewind
- Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection
- Tomba! Special Edition
- River City Girls Zero
- A Boy and his Blob Collection
- Rocket Knight Adventures
- Shantae
- Bill & Ted’s Excellent Retro Collection
- Xtreme Sports
- Trip World DX
- Felix the Cat
- Rendering Ranger R-2: Rewind
