BRIGANDINE ABYSS is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, bringing a new entry in the long-running tactical strategy RPG series to modern platforms.
Set in the continent of Meltitea, BRIGANDINE ABYSS introduces players to a brand-new world that can be enjoyed by newcomers and longtime fans alike. Hundreds of years ago, the Abyssloa Empire was stopped by the power of the arcane Brigandine. Now, the empire has risen once again, threatening to conquer the continent.
Players must manage their resources, develop their bases, command their armies and rally powerful monsters as they attempt to stand against the resurgent Abyssloa Empire. The game features six different story campaigns, each offering a different perspective on the conflict and the mysteries surrounding it.
Beyond its story campaigns, BRIGANDINE ABYSS features Mission Mode, where players can take control of one of 24 different factions. Each faction has its own unique victory conditions, providing additional challenges and plenty of replayability for those looking to test their strategic skills.
Battles retain the series’ signature hexagonal-grid strategy gameplay and require players to carefully consider their units, skills and elemental attributes when planning their attacks. Army development and resource management are just as important, with success depending on how effectively players prepare their forces before heading into battle.
Gameplay is divided into three distinct phases. During the Organization Phase, players arrange their troops and manage their resources. The Attack Phase allows them to issue orders against enemy strongholds, while the Invasion Phase puts those plans into action on the battlefield.
Whether playing through one of the six story campaigns or experimenting with the 24 factions in Mission Mode, BRIGANDINE ABYSS offers a substantial tactical RPG experience centered around army management, strategic combat and monster recruitment.
