Bandai Namco has had a lengthy relationship with Nintendo, including working on the recent entries in the Super Smash Bros series, and now a new step in the relationship has been taken. Bandai Namco has now formed Studio 2/Studio S, a division that exists specifically to work on Nintendo games.
The studio has been given retroactive credit on Mario Kart 8 DX, Tour and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and the studio is hiring new hires experienced in action games, specifically mentioning the ‘side-view’ variety.
What do you hope to see them work on?
