HAMSTER has announced that this week’s Arcade Archives game will be Othello from Success.
Othello Is a game released by Success in 1984. It’s a classic board game where you can place white and black stones alternately, and if you pinch them vertically, sideways, and diagonally, flip the opponent’s stones over to your own, and win the player with the highest number of stones.
Despite the simple rules, the book has implemented features that help capture and practice, such as the evaluation function of the hand you hit and the ability to return to the state at hand and re-divide.
Arcade Archives Othello will be released on Switch and PS4 on February 20, 2025.
