Metroid Prime 4 was announced by Nintendo at E3 all the way back at E3 2017, and then radio silence occurred until 2019, when Nintendo announced that development was being restarted on the title and fans would have to wait even longer to see Samus’ latest adventure.  We finally got our first look at the game last year and we now know the game is coming in 2025, but there is another hiccup.

Metroid Prime 4 was available for Pre-Order on amazon for year, even well before it had the  “Beyond” subtitle,  but now Amazon has been cancelling those pre-orders, saying they are doing so due to a “lack of availability”, with refunds being given to those who ordered.

Amazon has not shared full details on the matter, but it could be due to a new SKU being needed. Whatever the case, hopefully we get an actual release date soon.
