Hamster has announced it will be released a new ACA NeoGeo title with Master of Syougi coming to Switch and PS4 on April 2. Master of Syougi is a Shogi game from SNK that has never come west until now.
Master of Syougi is a shogi game released by SNK in 1995. It stands as the only authentic shogi (Japanese chess) title for the NeoGeo system, offering both standard shogi and the simplified “hasami shogi.” With adjustable settings to display beginner guides or play with handicaps (piece drops), the game is designed to be enjoyed by everyone from novices to true masters!
The ACA NeoGeo series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time.
