Milestone today announced a host of new content coming to RIDE 5 geared towards the RIDE community. A new update will be available for the game today that includes some of the community’s most eagerly awaited features: the Online Race Creator and the Riding School.
With the Online Race Creator, players can share their competitions online and download the events created by others. Designed to ensure longevity and let players express their creativity, the online features of the Race Creator also include a new section showing the most downloaded events. Players can further customize their events with custom logos that can be created and shared for each competition as well as event-specific suits, helmets and liveries made by the community. Finally, it will also be possible to modify rider information such as name and nationality.
Alongside this online version of the Race Creator, players just settling onto the racetrack can familiarize themselves with their bikes in the Riding School. This new game mode lets players test themselves across all the tracks in the game, bit by bit: every track is divided into four sectors, with their specific times to beat and related medals (bronze, silver and gold). After obtaining at least a bronze medal in every sector, the final challenge will be unlocked: a complete lap to beat within the set time. In this new game mode, players will learn how to handle specific portions of each track to master them from start to finish, taking their riding skills to the next level.
