With the release of Ys X: Nordics about to occur in Japan, many have wondered what the Nintendo Switch version of the game will play like. There was some concern since Ys IX did not have the smoothest performance on the system, but a new video showcasing the gameplay and framerate may be enough to alleviate some concerns.
Posted by Pixelacos Gameplays, the video shows Ys X actually looks good visually on Switch, and much better than Ys IX did. What is better still is that Ys X is shown to run at a largely stable 30 FPS with minor dips to 29 fps but sometimes going higher than 30 FPS.
If the video is any indication, this is a vast improvement over the last entry on Switch, and a game we can look forward to when it releases in the West.
