Croteam and Devolver Digital have unveiled the first gameplay footage of The Talos Principle 3, offering an early look at the next chapter in the acclaimed philosophical puzzle series. Set to bring the trilogy to a close, the game will launch on PC and PlayStation 5 in 2027.
Revealed during the Triple-I Initiative showcase, the footage introduces the Anomaly, a mysterious world where the laws of physics no longer behave as expected. Players will explore crumbling temples and abandoned scientific outposts while uncovering fragmented memories and attempting to understand why they have been brought to this strange place.
The journey will span dozens of new worlds, each featuring its own puzzles, characters, and stories. As players tackle increasingly complex challenges, they will also revisit the history of the world humanity built, with the Anomaly’s true nature remaining an unsettling mystery. Some believe it to be Heaven, others Hell, but the promise of judgement hangs over the entire experience.
Alongside its new environments, The Talos Principle 3 will introduce fresh puzzle mechanics and an ambitious story spanning generations, bringing Croteam’s philosophical science fiction saga toward its conclusion. With the first gameplay now revealed, players can get an early glimpse of what awaits when the trilogy’s final chapter arrives next year.
