MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is getting ready to bring two major Marvel characters into the fight, as The Siege of Castle Doom DLC launches on Nov. 10 for PC and consoles.

Developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu revealed the release date alongside a surprise trailer shown at New York Comic Con, where fans got their first look at two new playable characters joining the arcade-style beat ’em up. The biggest surprise is arguably Doctor Doom himself, who will be stepping into the playable roster despite being one of the game’s most dangerous villains.

Joining him is Susan Storm, better known as the Invisible Woman. The Fantastic Four member will bring her own set of abilities to MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, making use of her powers over light and force fields as she joins the game’s growing roster of heroes.

Doctor Doom, meanwhile, comes equipped with his trademark high-tech armor, occult abilities, and the intellect that has made him one of Marvel’s most formidable adversaries. The new DLC will also introduce an entirely new game mode built around Doom, with Tribute Games and Dotemu promising more details about the mode’s gameplay and story closer to its release.

The Siege of Castle Doom will be available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S when it launches on Nov. 10.

The DLC expands a game that has already attracted more than 1.5 million players. MARVEL Cosmic Invasion features 17 playable Marvel heroes and its Cosmic Swap system, allowing players to switch between two characters during combat and combine their abilities while taking on Annihilus and the forces of the Annihilation Wave.

With Invisible Woman and Doctor Doom joining the roster, The Siege of Castle Doom looks set to continue the game’s celebration of Marvel’s classic eras while giving its arcade-inspired brawling a distinctly Fantastic Four and Doom-focused twist.
