Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released a new gameplay walkthrough trailer for GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, giving players a closer look at how missions will unfold, how the Gundam Helix handles in combat, and just how much customization will go into preparing for battle.

The trailer follows Rex, pilot of the Gundam Helix, as he receives his mission briefing aboard the special service craft Stellarvane before heading into battle. Once deployed, the Gundam Helix can zip around the battlefield with multi-directional movement, giving players plenty of mobility as they take on waves of enemies and larger threats.

Customization will also play a major role in preparing for each mission. Players can modify the Gundam Helix’s weapons, frame, skills, and colour scheme, allowing them to build a mobile suit around their preferred approach to combat. The trailer shows how these choices can then be put to the test against some of the game’s much larger Apocalypse enemies.

Those encounters aren’t simply about unloading attacks until an enemy falls. Players will need to identify and target specific weak points while making use of the Gundam Helix’s special abilities. Over-rise can dramatically boost the mobile suit’s performance during battle, while the AP Unit Burst provides an especially powerful attack capable of turning the tide when things get overwhelming.

Alongside its combat and customization systems, GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT will see Rex forge bonds with a cast of unlikely companions as humanity struggles against the terrifying forces unleashed by the Apocalypse. The new trailer offers a better idea of how the game’s missions, preparation, and high-speed battles will fit together when the full experience arrives.

GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT is scheduled to launch on March 5, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are now available, with Standard, Launch, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions planned
