Mickey Mouse is heading back into Wasteland, and this time his magical brush has received a Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade. Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, giving players another way to experience the remake of the 2010 Disney adventure.

Developed by Purple Lamp in collaboration with Disney Games and published by THQ Nordic, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed follows Mickey after he is pulled into Wasteland, a mysterious world inhabited by forgotten Disney characters. Armed with a magical paintbrush, Mickey can use paint and thinner to restore the world around him, alter its environments and uncover secrets hidden throughout his journey.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version brings several enhancements to the adventure, including higher-resolution visuals and an improved framerate. The game also supports mouse-style controls through the Joy-Con 2 controllers, giving players another way to wield Mickey’s brush. The Costume Pack DLC is included with the Switch 2 release as well.

Originally released in 2010, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed modernizes the classic adventure with updated visuals while retaining its central paint-and-thinner gameplay. The remake also introduces new movement abilities, including a dash, ground pound and sprint, giving Mickey additional options for navigating Wasteland and dealing with its various challenges.

The adventure takes Mickey through environments inspired by classic Disney stories, with familiar characters appearing along the way. How players use the brush can also influence the world around them, making paint and thinner more than just tools for dealing with obstacles.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is available now on Nintendo Switch 2 for €39.99 / $39.99 / £34.99 / AU$59.95 / ¥5,170.

The game is also currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
