Atari and Hipster Whale are teaming up to take the Crossy Road Crew somewhere new with Crossy Road Rush, an all-new arcade-action platforming runner coming exclusively to Apple Arcade on November 5, 2026.
Developed by Hipster Whale and announced alongside Atari, Crossy Road Rush brings the familiar cast of characters to the island of Crossy Cove, where players will have to contend with environmental hazards, enemies and the goo spread across the island by the angry Octoboss. The new adventure expands on the platforming ideas found in Crossy Road and Crossy Road Castle while introducing free-form movement and larger boss encounters.
The game’s Adventure Mode will feature more than 50 hand-curated levels, with players able to collect stars, complete quests and earn coins as they work their way through Crossy Cove. Coins can then be used to unlock new boards, giving players additional reasons to return beyond simply completing the main stages.
Atari and Hipster Whale are also leaning into the series’ pick-up-and-play appeal with a Daily Survival Mode, which introduces new challenges and global leaderboards for players looking to compete for high scores. The game is designed to accommodate both short sessions and longer-term mastery, with straightforward controls that are easy to learn while leaving room for players to improve their performance.
Multiplayer is another major part of Crossy Road Rush, with support for up to four players through local co-op and online multiplayer. The Crossy Road Crew will face off against enemies, hazards and bosses together, bringing the series’ colorful characters and humor into a larger arcade platforming experience.

The collaboration between Atari and Hipster Whale gives the long-running Crossy Road franchise another avenue to expand, with Crossy Road Rush retaining the approachable design that helped establish the series while building it around a more traditional arcade-platforming structure.
