NIS America has announced that party game-style RPG **Prinny Party: Going Overboard!** will launch digitally for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Switch, and PC via Steam on November 11 in the west.
The game will arrive slightly earlier in Japan and Asia, where it is set to launch on November 12 with both physical and digital editions available.
Prinny Party: Going Overboard! supports up to four players, with players competing and cooperating as they move around a board, earn experience, collect stronger equipment, complete quests, and take on powerful bosses. However, teamwork can only go so far, as the player who brings a boss back to spawn is the one who gets credit for defeating it.
Players can pick up and throw friends and enemies alike, while build spaces allow them to construct and upgrade facilities such as hospitals and armories. Those facilities can also be used by the other players, adding another layer of competition to each match.
The Assembly also gives players the opportunity to pass bills that can dramatically change the course of a game, including effects that can triple damage, grant another movement turn, or create a cannon powerful enough to take down even the strongest demons.
The chaos doesn’t stop there, as everyone needs to stay alive. If all four players die at once, the game is over for everyone.
Prinny Party: Going Overboard! will also support GameShare on Switch 2 and Remote Play Together on Steam, allowing players to join in even if they don’t own their own copy of the game.
