TECOPARK has announced that SONIC PICO PARK will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on November 12.
The latest entry in the PICO PARK series is a crossover with SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog, combining the series’ cooperative action puzzle gameplay with familiar elements from the Sonic franchise. Players will need to work together to reach the goal at the end of each stage, with cooperation remaining essential to overcoming the various challenges.
SONIC PICO PARK also introduces Sonic-inspired mechanics to the formula, including the iconic Spin Dash, as well as rings, loops, and springs. Every playable character can use the Spin Dash as players navigate the game’s 2D stages together.
The game supports between two and eight players both locally and online, with every stage playable regardless of the number of participants. Online multiplayer also features cross-play, while PC players can have up to seven local players join an online session from a single computer.
With PICO PARK’s multiplayer puzzle gameplay and Sonic’s familiar mechanics coming together, SONIC PICO PARK offers a new way for groups of friends and family to tackle the series’ cooperative challenges.
