The final battle is getting a new look. KOEI TECMO America and Omega Force have unveiled a striking new key visual for Attack on Titan 3, the upcoming conclusion to the studio’s action game series based on the popular anime and manga.
Created by MAPPA to commemorate Attack on Titan’s 17th anniversary, the visual puts Eren at the centre of the confrontation, standing with his back turned as Mikasa, Armin and Levi face him. The new artwork will also serve as the key visual for the game’s opening animation.
Attack on Titan 3 is set to bring the entire story to a close, taking players from the Survey Corps’ earliest battles through the events leading to the series’ dramatic conclusion. Players will step into the role of a Scout Regiment member while fighting alongside many of the franchise’s most recognisable characters and reliving major events from across the story.
The game is scheduled to launch on December 10, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Japanese voice acting will be included, with English, French, Italian, German and Spanish text support.
Alongside the standard physical and digital editions, players can pre-order a special Steelbook launch edition featuring ICONART. A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available, bundling the base game with a digital artbook, character customisation pack, original equipment pack, starter item pack and a 72-hour early access period.
Pre-order and early purchase bonuses will include additional Attack on Titan-themed customisation items. Digital pre-orders will receive the Wings of Freedom Earrings, while both physical and digital purchases will include the Wings of Freedom Hoodie as an early purchase bonus.
Players who still have save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will also receive additional in-game bonuses in Attack on Titan 3. The save data must be stored on the same console used to play the new game, with further details to be announced at a later date.
With Attack on Titan 3 positioned as the culmination of Omega Force’s series, the new MAPPA artwork offers another look at the conflict that will define its final chapter. The game is currently in development ahead of its December 10, 2026 release.
