Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a brand-new launch trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker, giving players another look at the dark fantasy open-world action RPG ahead of its September 3 release.
The new trailer offers a glimpse at the dangers awaiting players in Vale Sangora, including the tyrannical vampire lord Brencis, as protagonist Coen prepares to fight for his family and uncover the mysteries surrounding his transformation into a Dawnwalker.

We can’t wait for the moment when players step into Vale Sangora and come face-to-face with Brencis and his vampire clique. We also hope that today’s trailer will encourage even more players to visit our booth at gamescom in Hall 6.1 and try our game,” said Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director and Co-Founder of Rebel Wolves.
Set in 14th-century Europe, The Blood of Dawnwalker follows Coen, a young man who is transformed into the titular Dawnwalker. While Coen remains human during the day, he becomes a vampire at night, giving him access to different abilities and approaches as he attempts to navigate a world devastated by war, plague, and rebellion.
The game places a strong emphasis on player choice, with decisions having consequences that can influence both the story and gameplay. With ruthless vampires ruling over the region, players will have to contend with a world where the lines between good and evil are not always clear.
The open-world adventure takes place in Vale Sangora, a region inspired by the Carpathian Mountains. Players will be able to explore its forests, ancient ruins, roadside shrines, and other locations while uncovering hidden secrets, completing quests, and searching for points of interest and treasures.
Rebel Wolves has also confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker is intended to be the first chapter in a larger Dawnwalker saga. Future instalments will move the series to new eras and cultures, with each entry featuring its own setting and experience.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, The Blood of Dawnwalker is the first game from Rebel Wolves and is being published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch on September 3 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are currently available across all platforms, while players can also add the game to their wishlist.
