Square Enix has released Switch 2 versions of Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II in Japan for 5,478 yen each and as a bundle is also available for 6,820 yen. In the west, both titles will be available for Switch 2 on October 1, and a physical bundle on a game-key card, will be available worldwide on the same date.
The Switch 2 versions of each title feature improved resolutions and frame rate, and are not compatible with save data from the Switch versions, and there is also no upgrade path from the Switch versions.
