Easy Trigger Games and Coffee Stain Publishing today unveiled HUNTDOWN: OVERTIME, a blood-soaked roguelite prequel to Huntdown with handcrafted pixel art and VHS era mayhem. The game puts players in control of John Sawyer during his brutal transformation from battered bounty hunter into the cybernetic killing machine from the original game.
Huntdown: Overtime delivers fast-paced run-and-gun combat inspired by VHS-era action classics. Each failed run sends players back to the operating table where flesh gets replaced with steel and weaknesses are carved away through permanent cybernetic upgrades. Whether you’ve played the original Huntdown or not, this is the moment to join the grindhouse and begin the hunt.
