Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has had a lengthy development period and it has not been easy. Retro Studios took over when production restarted in 2019, but it turns out the Studio did not do it alone. As it turns out, Nintendo brought in help from developers from Twenty additional studios, including Next Level Games and Virtuous, the former of whom previously worked on the spinoff Metroid Prime: Federation Force.
