Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have released more new details about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, namely what happens for those with save data from previous games.
What this means is that who have save data for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity or Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will get nice in-game goodies as a bonus. Those with Tears of the Kingdom save data will get access to a one-handed High Guard’s Sword, and if you have Age of Calamity save data, you’ll get the two-handed High Guard’s Claymore. If you do not have save data, do not worry as both swords may be made available to purchase at a later date.
In Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, battle hordes of enemies alongside your allies and pair up with them to unleash mighty Sync Strikes. Strategically deploy Zonai devices with water, wind or other effects to change the flow of combat. Fight alongside a friend in split-screen co-op, or use GameShare to play together on two separate systems if one player has the game. Uncover the canonical events only glimpsed in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game when Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment launches Nov. 6th!
