Inti Creates has announced Card-en-Ciel will be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launching on January 29, 2026. Existing owners of the Switch version will be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 version via a $10 Upgrade Pack, and in Japan, a physical edition will also be available. That is not all though, as a new Expansion Pass for Card-en-Ciel is currently in development, with new content planned for release in stages.
Card-en-Ciel – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Releasing January 29, 2026, Card-en-Ciel – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings the acclaimed roguelite card battling adventure to the Nintendo Switch 2 natively, allowing for high resolution 4K or high framerate 120 frames per second modes. Players can also swap to mouse controls at any time by changing the position of the Joy-Con 2, allowing for quick selection of cards during battle.
Card-en-Ciel Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will launch for $34.99 individually, and with a $10 upgrade pack for owners of Card-en-Ciel on Nintendo Switch.
New Expansion Pass
