After last week’s Nintendo’s Switch 2 Direct, Nintendo shared a website that let people know about Switch games that are currently suffering from issues when being played on Switch 2, as some games have issues while others can’t start at all. Thankfully, Nintendo is working hard to patch things up and make sure things work.
During an interview with GameSpot, Nintendo’s Technology Development Division General Manager Tetsuya Sasaki stated that Nintendo is working closely with developers of other Switch games in order to figure out the problems with Switch 2 compatibility, and that this is most likely a process that will continue on throughout the early years of Switch 2, and that more Switch games will end up getting perfect Switch 2 functionality as the months roll on.
“Yes, Nintendo has worked very hard at figuring out how to make a wide variety of games compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2. And as the Nintendo Switch 2 became more and more complete and entered its final form, we really realized how important it is for us to work very closely together with our third-party partners. And that is how this list came about.”
