On January 16, SEGA re-registered the trademark for Skies of Arcadia, and while many assumed there was nothing to it, we may yet see a re-release of the game.
GOG.com has a feature to allow gamers to vote on what classic games the site will seek out to bring to the store and add as part of the GOG Preservation Program, and now Skies of Arcadia: Legends has been added to the vote. Skies of Arcadia: Legends was an enhanced port of the Dreamcast game for the Nintendo GameCube and had a number of improvements over the original game.
As of this writing, the game has received 454 votes and counting, but this is not a guarantee that the game will be added yet. Still, if enough people vote then we may yet see GOG take action to bring the game!
