Sega has been registering trademarks for its classic IP recently, including trademarks related to Ecco the Dolphin.
Now another trademark has been filed for, as on January 16th, Sega re-registered the trademark of Skies of Arcadia and the Japanese title Eternal Arcadia.
There is no certainty there will be anything that will come from this, but it is a good sign that Sega has not forgotten the franchise.
