SEGA is reviving many of its classic games with new entries, and it seems another classic may be coming back.
On December 27 in Japan, SEGA filed trademarks for “Ecco the Dolphin” and “Ecco”. These trademarks were just made public now.
SEGA has been renewing and gaining trademarks related to many of its classic IP that it is actively working on revivals for, so while this is not any full confirmation yet, could indicate SEGA has something planned for the dolphin.
